Oldenburg is a university city and a seat of administration, and healthcare and retail shape the town as well. That produces very different projects. Institutions need websites with clean editorial workflows, which for us usually means TYPO3 v14. Retailers need shops that sell, so we use Shopware 6. And where standard software runs into its limits, we build on with PHP 8 and Symfony.
For us the launch is not the end of a project but the start of operation. We host on our own servers in Germany, keep the systems current and take on support and maintenance. Planning, build and operation from one team — no knowledge gets lost to third parties, and nobody hands responsibility on. That is what we mean by systems that hold.
