01 Starting point
Staude Mobile Sanitärsysteme hires out mobile sanitary units and toilet trailers for events and building sites. The business runs on enquiries, not baskets. The same questions come before every quote: what the occasion is, over what period, at which location, at what scale.
It is also strongly seasonal. The festival summer and the building season create peaks in demand, and enquiries then have to be answered fast. In that phase an enquiry without dates or a location costs an extra round of questions, on both sides.
So the site has a clear job. It should not just show what is available, but take on the qualifying that would otherwise happen in the first phone call. Whoever lands on the site usually already has a date and a place in mind.
02 Solution
The basis is a current WordPress. The page structure follows the situation rather than the fleet: event, building site, private occasion. From there the pages lead to the matching types of unit, from a single cabin to a fitted toilet trailer.
The enquiry route is the core. The form asks for dates, location, occasion and scale as structured fields instead of offering an empty message box. Mandatory fields are set so that an enquiry without the details needed for a quote cannot be sent at all.
Most visits come from a phone, often straight from the building site or from the middle of planning an event. Templates, image delivery and caching are built for that. In projects of this kind, regular core and plugin updates and backups are a fixed part of running the site.
03 Result
The range and the enquiry sit in one place. Visitors get from the occasion to the right unit and supply the details needed for a quote along the way. The effort spent asking about dates and locations drops noticeably as a result.
For the seasonal peaks that is the decisive point. Enquiries arrive in a consistent form and can be worked through in the order they come in, instead of having to be completed first.
