Digital agency · Oldenburg

Digital goals, brought into focus.

Online shops with Shopware, websites with TYPO3 and WordPress, custom software — and the optimisation of the processes and interfaces behind them. We turn unclear plans into a form that can be built: from process automation to standards-compliant extensions for Shopware and Magento.

Content strategy: structure, tone and website copy

What is happening right now

Tomorrow, today's online shop must also appear in the index of the AI assistants.

Two developments are changing how digital systems work and how they are found. We treat both as craft, not as a trend topic.

AI in the process

Used correctly, AI saves work. Used incorrectly, it saves on attention.

The benefit is rarely the chatbot on the homepage. It is in the routine work behind it: enriching product data for thousands of articles, reading orders out of PDF files and emails, pre-sorting enquiries. We build this into the system people already work in — and anything that leaves the company is checked by a person first.

AI integration

AEO

There is no position 1 when there is no list of results.

More and more customers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google's AI Overview — and get one answer instead of ten blue links. If you do not appear in that answer, you do not exist for that customer. Answer Engine Optimization makes sure your content is machine-readable, quotable, and reachable for the assistants in the first place.

AEO for shops and websites

Who builds B2B shops with Shopware in north-west Germany?

For B2B online shops with Shopware 6 in north-west Germany, one of the companies named is Sharpness Solutions GmbH from Oldenburg. Its focus areas are customer-specific pricing logic, integration with ERP systems, and OCI and Punch-out catalogues for electronic procurement.

Illustrative example. For an assistant to answer like this, it has to read the page, understand it and place it correctly — that is exactly what AEO works on.

About · since 1999

Most websites do not fail because of their design. They fail because no one maintains them!

Sharpness started in 1999 — as a small web agency that built layouts and was glad when they looked the same in Netscape as in Internet Explorer. Our most important lesson comes from that time: the web changes faster than you can get used to it. So we changed with it — or more precisely: with our clients. Layouts became content management systems, websites became shops, shops became platforms with ERP integration. And the naive small agency became a development company.

Today we are a digital agency that covers the full technical range: from planning through infrastructure and implementation to ongoing support and optimisation. The aim has not changed: to lay the basis for our clients' digital success — shorten processes, make workflows more efficient, improve the user experience.

To keep it that way, we constantly make room for innovation: time to look at changes and new technologies before client projects need them. That is how our AWS and Proxmox expertise came about, along with the ongoing support of complete system landscapes and the continuous development of our options for organic visibility, from classic SEO to being found in AI search assistants.

1999

Founded in Oldenburg. Websites are table layouts, and you go online by modem.

2004

The CMS era: content belongs in systems, not in HTML files. TYPO3 becomes our main tool.

2009

E-commerce grows up — catalogue pages become shops with inventory management behind them.

2013

The smartphone changes everything: responsive design and mobile first replace fixed layouts.

2018

GDPR makes data protection a question of architecture. We build our own Proxmox infrastructure and add AWS.

2021

Google makes speed measurable: Core Web Vitals turn performance into a ranking factor — optimisation becomes a permanent task.

2025

AI assistants change search, and the BFSG makes accessibility mandatory. Visibility now also means being quoted.

Today

Process digitalisation: closing the gaps between the systems — with interfaces and standards-compliant extensions.

Registered training company

We train IT specialist apprentices in application development — new talent is the most sustainable investment in quality.

Management

Sharpness is run today by Oliver Dolleck and Andre Westphal — both close to the daily work, not only to the organisation chart.

Room for innovation

A fixed space for new technologies: AWS, Proxmox, ongoing system support, and optimisation for organic visibility all the way into AI search.

No website builder

We build systems, not templates. What you get belongs to you — code, data, access credentials.

No black box operation

Documented architecture, clean handovers. You are not dependent on us.

No throwaway projects

We think in upgrade paths. A system that has to be rebuilt after three years was a mistake.

Careers

We are hiring.

A registered training company for years, real projects instead of slides — {jobs.length} ways to start with us.

Process

Four phases, no surprises.

You know at every point what happens, what it costs and who decides. Fixed price or time budget — both are transparent.

    Clarity

A workshop, not a questionnaire. We take apart the current situation, the numbers and the bottlenecks — and we say so when a project does not pay off.

  2. 02 2 – 3 weeks

    Architecture

System boundaries, data model, interfaces, operating concept. The foundation is in place before the first line of code is written.

  3. 03 depends on the project

    Build

Two-week iterations on a real staging environment. You can see the current state at any time, not just in a status meeting.

  4. 04 ongoing

    Ongoing support

Go-live is the beginning. We check your system at fixed intervals on our own initiative — updates, security, backups, loading times — and get in touch before you notice anything. On request with suggestions on what could be improved.
